What this service is

NightFun ("we", operated by Eclipzion) lets a host organize a private gathering: who's invited, when the address becomes visible, and who arrived.

What we store

If you're a host: either the identifier from the sign-in provider you chose (Apple, Google, or Facebook) OR, if you sign in with email, your email address — to which we send a one-time code (kept only briefly, then deleted); plus the name and optional email that provider shares, and the people, circles, houses and nights you create — including names, phone numbers, emails and private notes you add about your guests.

Connections (friends): if you connect with someone through a friend code or QR, we store that connection and a rotating friend code for you. Connecting is always mutual and by consent; there is no contact-matching, no search, and no friend suggestions.

If you're a guest: the name and optional contact info your host added for you (or that you entered when requesting an invite), your RSVP status, and whether you checked in. You never need an account to attend — the invite link works on its own, permanently.

If you create an optional guest account (to see your invites in the app instead of only via the link): the identifier from the sign-in provider you chose (or your email address, if you sign in that way), the optional email and name it shares, which invites you've connected to that account, any friend connections and rotating friend code you make, and a record of which version of our terms you agreed to. A guest account never grants access to any other guest's information or to any host's data.

Addresses: exact addresses are encrypted at rest and only shown to accepted guests after the host's chosen reveal time. They never appear in links, notification text, logs, or analytics.

Analytics: counts and state changes only — never names, contact info, notes, or addresses.

What we never do

No public discovery. No selling or sharing of personal data. No ads. No demographic profiling of a host's guest list.

Service providers

We keep the number of companies that touch your data as small as the product allows. Today: our own cloud hosting, and an email delivery provider used to send invite links, sign-in codes, and event notifications. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs — there are none anywhere in the app. Any provider that handles personal data on our behalf is bound to process it only on our instructions.

Your rights

Hosts: export everything from the app (Settings → Export my data) and delete your account and all of its data in the app (Settings → Delete account).

Guest accounts: the same tools, in the app — export your data and delete your account whenever you like. Both keep working even if the guest-account feature is ever switched off. Deleting a guest account removes the account, its sign-ins and its invite connections; it does not remove what your host recorded about you (see the next line for that).

Guests recorded by a host: if a host has recorded you and you want that removed, email [CONTACT_EMAIL] — we will anonymize every copy of your identity across the service (name, contact info, notification history) while leaving only anonymous attendance counts.

Retention

Notification delivery logs, one-time email sign-in codes, and sign-in sessions and device push tokens that go unused are automatically scrubbed of personal data or deleted after a set retention period (90 days by default). Everything else lives until you (or the host who recorded it) delete it.

Children's privacy

NightFun is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe a person under 18 has created an account, or has been recorded as a guest by a host, email [CONTACT_EMAIL] and we will remove the relevant data.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA — no advertising networks, no data brokers, no cross-context behavioral advertising, and no third-party analytics SDKs exist anywhere in this product.

Categories we collect: identifiers (sign-in provider identifier or email-login address, name, email, phone where a host records one), friend connections you choose to make, and limited commercial information (membership status for hosts who subscribe). No biometric, geolocation, or inferred-profile data.

Your rights: to know and access (in-app export, or email us), to delete (in-app deletion, or email us), to correct (edit in the app, or email us), and to not be discriminated against for exercising any of these — nothing in NightFun is conditioned on giving up a privacy right. Requests: the in-app tools work immediately; otherwise email [CONTACT_EMAIL] and we respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.
